About Us

The Roywood Neighborhood Centre is non-profit research and learning institute that works to enhance the capacity of youth and their families to contribute to the material and social development of their community. Our focus is on accompanying young people as they advance from childhood to maturity – helping them and their families to develop coherence in the material, intellectual and moral aspects of life – and on enhancing the ties of cooperation, reciprocity and mutual support that characterize a vital, vibrant community. We are motivated by the conviction that all members of the community are protagonists of personal and social development and have a part to play in building a united and prosperous world.

Presently, our efforts are concentrated in the Toronto neighborhoods of Fenside-Parkwoods, Parkwoods-O’Connor Hills and Wexford-Maryvale. Our centre is located in Parkway Mall at the intersection of Elsmere and Victoria Park Avenues, yet our programs and initiatives take place in various locations in collaboration with other community organizations.
